Hydraulic Optimization of the SST at Prague Central WWTP
This project aimed to propose measures to improve sludge sedimentation by optimizing the hydraulic conditions in the tank. Based on long-term data collection and their database evaluation, a mathematical 3D CFD model was developed that represents the behavior of the sludge in the tank. With the help of this model, an innovative inlet object was then designed, which proved to be so succesfull, that it was registered as an industrial design for the EU.
